a dance film and poetic narration, that depicts a woman identifying with her trauma using her mind and body connection to find liberation through isolation. this work speaks to her own transitionary period of radicalizing from a socially repressive narrative of black existence that ultimately leads her to unveiling the power of self love.
Created as a DK Fellow for Kenny Leon’s True Colors Theatre Company’s 2021 Dihvinely Konnecked Commission Fellowship.
